These are the 4 steps to take in setting up to filter messages received from us or anyone else that you might see that their emails arrive in the Spam or Promotions folder.
Kudo's to my friend Igor Kheifects for this information.
While these instructions are generally for Gmail users, there might be other methods in Outlook, Thunderbird or other email clients. Those methods are not discussed here.
Ready to go?
Open up the email that you wish to create a filter for. Once open, click the three (3) dots as shown below:
The email you just received might be email@example.com, so look for that one.
Once you click on the three (3) dots, this window will open and you want to click on "Filter messages like this" as per the following example:
In this next step you will want to check off the boxes as indicated below. Since you are just receiving your first email from us, the last step is optional but keep it it mind for future emails that you would want to apply this filter to. It is annoying that Google or Gmail flags so many emails as Spam when they shouldn't be. This filter will solve that issue for you. Continue on, we are almost done.
This is the final step and all you need to do is click on the CREATE FILTER button at the lower right.
This will tell Gmail for all future emails, to place them directly into the Primary folder so you won't have to go looking for them and won't miss any important emails.
Hope this helps and look forward to helping you along your journey to financial freedom.
